Urinary incontinence is a surprisingly common problem among the elderly, with nearly 51% of people aged 65 and older who live at home reporting bladder and/or bowel incontinence . Of those, 41.5% are dependent on the care of others. Whilst it’s not uncommon, caring for an elderly parent with bladder weakness can, of course, be incredibly challenging.
