Enkele symptomen zijn:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>urineverlies&nbsp;tijdens het hoesten, lachen of niezen (stressincontinentie);&nbsp;<\/li><li>urineverlies&nbsp;als je een plotselinge aandrang om te plassen voelt (aandrangincontinentie);&nbsp;<\/li><li>urineverlies&nbsp;omdat je je blaas niet volledig leeg kunt maken (overloopincontinentie);&nbsp;<\/li><li>vaak&nbsp;of constant urineverlies omdat je blaas helemaal geen urine kan vasthouden (totale incontinentie).<a href=\"\/Users\/katharinam\/AppData\/Local\/Temp\/Temp1_Ontex%20-%20O-141008_Batch2.zip\/Dutch\/Pelvic%20floor%20exercises%20for%20men-nlBE.docx#_ftn2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><sup>[2]<\/sup><\/a>&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Die symptomen kunnen erg\u00a0lastig\u00a0zijn maar je kunt ze op verschillende manieren onder controle krijgen. Ze versterken de&nbsp;<strong>bekkenbodem&nbsp;<\/strong>waardoor je symptomen verbeteren.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Probeer eerst te bepalen waar je bekkenbodemspieren zich bevinden. Je kunt dat het eenvoudigste doen door even naar het toilet te gaan. Probeer tijdens het plassen te stoppen. Die spieren die je hiervoor gebruikt, zijn je bekkenbodemspieren.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zodra je weet waar je bekkenbodemspieren zich bevinden, kun je je bekkenbodem met oefeningen gaan versterken.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Span je bekkenbodemspieren gedurende vijf tot zeven seconden aan.&nbsp;<\/li><li>&nbsp;Laat vervolgens je spieren ontspannen. Herhaal dit enkele keren. Je kunt tot tien herhalingen doen.<sup>[3]<\/sup>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Je zult merken dat je bekkenbodem na verloop van tijd sterker wordt. De eerste keer dat je de oefening doet, kun je misschien slechts twee of drie herhalingen doen.
